The Percy Hedley Foundation is a charity working within the North East to meet the needs of disabled people and their families. Their services include residential and care services, employability projects and a sports academy.

The Wansbeck Valley Food Bank collect and store non-perishable food to be made into parcels to be distributed amongst those in financial hardship. The packages last three days. They have Distribution Centres in Ashington, Lynemouth, Morpeth, Pegswood and Newbiggin. Year 12 decided on this charity in particular to give to those less fortunate than themselves this Christmas.

Over £1,000 was raised as well as a collection of non-perishable food. Thank you to all those involved!
