Post-16 Student Mentoring and Support AssistantClosing Date: Tuesday 1st July 2008Hours: 37 hours term time only + 5 days Salary: Scale 4 (£14,019 - £15,625 pay award pending) We require a Post-16 Student Mentoring and Support Assistant for September to work 37 hours per week, term time only plus 5 days during holidays. The role involves working closely with teachers and tutors, providing guidance to students in support of their learning and progression. The ability to relate to young people is essential, as well as flexibility and good organisational skills. Experience and understanding of Higher Education is preferred, and it would be desirable if you have studied to degree level.
