Welcome to the website of The King Edward VI School Morpeth.

We are a high school situated in the town of Morpeth in Northumberland. We serve both the town and the areas of Coquet and Wansbeck Valleys. We provide for over 1400 students from years 9-13 and have a thriving Sixth Form of over 400 students.

We are one of the top ranking schools in the North East of England for academic achievement. With specialist Arts, Technology and Leading Edge status, we pride ourselves on being a fully inclusive and truly comprehensive school built on traditional principles and high standards. Amongst our educational accolades we hold Arts Mark, International Schools, Healthy Schools, and Investors in People Awards.

At the King Edward VI School every student really does matter, and our excellent range of curricular, extra-curricular and student voice opportunities ensure all our young people can flourish.

You are welcome to come and visit at any time. Contact Deborah Reeman () for years 9, 10, 11 or Ian Wilkinson () for years 12 and 13.
