How to Join KEVI Enterprise Group

Re: Membership of the KEVI Enterprise Group (KEG)

We all appreciate that it is essential for schools and businesses to work together to provide tomorrow’s workforce.

Linking with businesses, however, is not something that schools have found easy but with the mutual benefits being so great, this is a hurdle we must overcome.

Historically at KEVI we have benefited from a wide range of business links, some of which were represented at our School Industry Liaison Committee (SILC) that met on four occasions throughout the year. However, with the onset of enterprise we felt this was not sufficient in order to do justice to the excellent support businesses provide.

Therefore, we have established the KEVI Enterprise Group (KEG) and would ask you to become a member. This does not mean, however, more meetings at the school. What it does mean though is that you will be regularly informed of business link work via a half-termly newsletter so you can see at first hand just how much our students learn through your support.

I do intend to have a celebration evening towards the end of this academic year to give students the opportunity to share their projects and experiences and I would like very much for all of our business partners to be represented.

I hope you feel this is a positive step forward to better links with our school that does not overburden your business and I hope you will join our Enterprise Group.

I would appreciate it if you could send me up to date contact details for your business so I can update my records. Please find enclosed my card for future reference.
