'Happy Hands' sign-language group

'Happy Hands' our KEVI sign-language group which includes students from years 9-13, has reached the final of this year's Changeit Awards in the category of 'Performance'. Our school group is now one of 8 national finalists and we have already won £250, some of which the students would like to to donate to a local school for the deaf, as well as to purchase resources to develop the club. Judges will decide on a winner - however there is an additional cash bonus for the group which gets the most online votes. We would obviously love to have the opportunity to work more with deaf children and put our skills in to practice; therefore the more funding we have, the better the opportunities we can provide.

It would be great if all staff, parents and students could vote online at www.changeit.org.uk and to please get friends and family to do the same. The closing date is 23rd April.

Once into the website, go to the Performance category and see our Happy Hands nomination, then go to Vote Now. You should then be able to follow a link asking you to state your name and email address then you get sent a link via your email address which allows you to vote.

It would be fantastic for KEVI to win.
