All Year 12 students to attend interviews at the time allocated.
Wednesday 8 September
Term starts for Years 10, 11, 12 and 13. Students should report to their tutor group at 8.55 a.m. for registration.
Supporting your Child in Year 12 Evening - Thursday 23 September
7.00 pm - 7.45 pm Further to the one to one student interviews with tutors at the beginning of term, to which all parents were invited to attend, the information evening is aimed at providing an overview of the first year of Sixth Form. It is open to all parents of Year 12 students and will supplement rather than repeat information given at the beginning of term. Parents with no prior experience of the Advanced Level process since 2000 are particularly advised to attend. We will explain how AS and A2 learning is organised, how the examination system operates, and – importantly – how progress will be monitored. We think Year 12 is the key to A-level year. Progress from Year 12 to Year 13 is not automatic and so it is important that parents are aware of school procedures and requirements. If you are able to join us, please do so.

We welcome all prospective Year 8 parents/carers and their children to come and look around King Edward's, talk to our staff and students, and look at our facilities.
