Year 9
OCR 21st Century Science Chemistry A. Units to be studied during Year 9 are C1 – Air Quality, C2 – Material Choices and C3 – Food Matters.
Year 10
OCR 21st Century Science Chemistry A. Units to be studied during Year 10 are C4 – Chemical Patterns, C5 – Chemicals of the Natural Environment and Unit 5 – Practical Investigation.
We will also spend time preparing for your C1, C2 and C3 G.C.S.E. exam in January 2010
Year 11
Option 1 – Chemistry A
OCR 21st Century Science Chemistry A. Units to be studied during Year 11 are C6 – Chemical Synthesis and C7 – Further Chemistry.
We will also spend time preparing for your C4, C5 and C6 exam in January 2010 and C7 and Ideas in Context exam in June 2010.
Year 12
AQA AS Chemistry “New” - 1421
AQA AS Chemistry “New”, Units to be studied during Year 12 are Unit 1 – Foundation Chemistry, Unit 2 – Chemistry in Action and Unit 3 – Practical Assessment.
Unit 1 will be examined in January 2010, Unit 2 in June 2010 and Unit 3 during the Summer Term.
Year 13
AQA A2 Chemistry “New” - 2421
AQA AS Chemistry “New”, Units to be studied during Year 13 are Unit 4 – Kinetics, Equilibria and Organic Chemistry, Unit 5 – Energetics, Redox and Inorganic Chemistry and Unit 6 – Practical Assessment.
Unit 4 will be examined in January 2010, Unit 5 in June 2010 and Unit 3 during the Summer Term.
