LUCKER NURSERY (NATURE KINDERGARTEN) BELFORD

All students studying BTEC Level 2 Certificate in Children’s Care Learning and Development are required to participate in a three day certificated course run by one of the Departments external partnerships, Northumberland Early Years and Children’s Services.

This certificate is designed to ensure that all students wanting to work with children can relate and communicate with children through play. This certificate prepares students for their work experience by developing their knowledge of types of play including outdoor play, how to plan and organise play activities, risk assessment and safety. The course includes activities for students that are held both indoors and outdoors. A one day visit to the above nursery is inclusive of the three day certificate.
