Key Stage 4

At Key Stage Four (Year 10) the department have adopted the brand new Edexcel B specification as it has interesting content and a pragmatic approach to assessment, while the content aims to spark Geographical interest and debate, the assessment tests skill as well as understanding, thus demonstrating Geography’s role is a 21^st Century curriculum.

The GCSE specification sits very well with our Post-16 options and is excellent preparation for students who wish to study Geography further. The current Year 11 will be the final cohort of students to complete their studies of the OCR B specification.
