The Student Council exists as part of our drive to become a true democratic learning community. The council provides a forum for student Year Reps from Years 9-13 to discuss items or aspects of school life and bring ideas for change e.g. our student planner is devised by the students. Year Councils meet regularly and Year reps filter items to student council, which meets regularly. Any student can ask to attend if they have a charity event they wish the council to support or if they have an issue they wish to raise at council.
In the past student council has provided funds to refurbish the school toilets, buy picnic benches and even build a new drama studio.
