Dear Parent / Carer,

Welcome to Year 11. I hope that you and your child have had a wonderful summer and are now fully refreshed to face the challenges that lie ahead this year.

As you will know this year promises to be an exciting and important year for your child. With the right support from home and school, I know that your child will be well equipped to meet these challenges and emerge with fantastic results that match individual potential.

In order to help you support your child during this important time all parents have been sent some information along with the June Grade Update including key dates that you may find useful and information on subject specific revision guides and websites. This should explain the year ahead and tell you what we will be doing, and what you can do to support your child.

The staff at The King Edward VI School are all committed to achieving the best for your child. Should you at any stage have any queries, I would urge you to contact your child’s tutor or myself immediately. Please also refer to this website at regular intervals in order to keep up to date with key dates for the year.
